Spill The Beans is a Scottish worship, age group and intergenerational resource. It is written by a team of volunteer contributors from across the country and edited and published by Rev Peter Johnston. It has been produced since 2011 and is used by congregations across the English-speaking world.

In Devana Parish Church we use this resource in our own worship.

In 2022-23 Spill The Beans has been using The Women's Lectionary, a plan of Bible readings devised by Ashley M. Wilcox, which deliberately focuses our attention on the many women who are part of the Bible and upon female imagery of God within the Scripture.

For 2023-25, the Spill The Beans Resource Team have devised their own two year lectionary titled "Word and World". The purpose of this new lectionary is to make a deliberate effort to link our exploration of Scripture and worship to what is happening in our world. We have done this by linking to particularly important (serious and fun) national or international themes.
