Phoenix Theatre
Phoenix Theatre is an amateur theatre company established in 1990 by Liz Milne and Clare Haggart. The Musical Director is Kevin Haggart, while choreography is provided by Colette Murray.
Everyone who wants to join Phoenix Theatre has to audition, but please don't be nervous - exceptionally talented divas are not essential!
The audition will include singing a song of your choice. If you have a song that you would like to sing, bring the sheet music with you, but scores from well-known musicals will be provided if you need inspiration. You will then read a page from a script with another auditionee. Everyone will be given plenty of time to read the dialogue through before actually reading it out.
After saying all that though, don’t worry, it’s all very informal!
