The Guild

The  Guild meet every 2nd Monday, from October- March. Dates will be on a syllabus once speakers etc are arranged.  We meet in the Jubilee hall at Devana Parish Church (Holburn Street) – 2.00pm, usually finishing about 4.00pm

The Guild is open to all ages and is not only for women, men are also welcome to join in the fellowship, friendship and fun.

We try to have a variety of speakers as well as “home spun” entertainment. We try to incorporate an afternoon where other Guilds are invited.

A coffee morning is also organised during the session,  an outing for lunch is usually organised for April after the winter session is completed these dates will be on the syllabus. The Christmas date in December is usually held in the Jubilee Hall with our own “entertainment”! 

If the Guild is set a task, they will endeavour to meet the challenge. Our motto is taken from Acts 27, verse 23: “Whose we are and Whom we serve.” This is true of every member – to serve the Lord in any way we can.
